Who runs this service

BannerlordMMO is an independent fan project. The website, the account server and the game server are run by the BannerlordMMO team. For anything about your data, message the team on our Discord: discord.gg/cQV5vBS9A.

What we store when you register

Your nickname, a password hash (we do not know your password and cannot read it back), the beta key used to create the account, the date the account was created and the date of your last login.

We do not collect an email address, your name or any payment details.

IP address

Every server you connect to sees the IP address of your connection. On our side it ends up in: web server logs (deleted after 14 days), abuse protection counters (kept only in server memory while a limit is counted), the record of beta key use (deleted after 14 days), the account server log (deleted after 30 days) and the list of crash reports that the launcher or the game sends after a failure (entries deleted after 30 days).

The login log and crash reports are used only to protect accounts and fix bugs. We do not share them with anyone.

Why

To run your account and character, to protect the server from abuse (attempt limits, blocks) and to fix bugs. We do not sell data, profile players or show ads.

Cookies and third parties

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no scripts from other services. Fonts and the video are served from our own server.

Discord is a separate service with its own privacy rules. You only go there when you click the link.

How long

We keep the account and character for as long as the account exists. During the beta the world may be wiped; we will announce it in the news.

We keep the account server log and the list of crash reports for 30 days, web server logs and the record of beta key use for 14 days. After that they are deleted automatically.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or to delete your account together with your character. Message the team on Discord with your nickname; we will ask you to confirm that the account is yours.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
